Vidalista is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains Tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This improved blood flow helps men achieve and maintain a firm erection suitable for sexual activity.

Vidalista 80 is effective only when sexual arousal is present—it does not increase sexual desire or cause spontaneous erections. One of its key advantages is its long-lasting effect, which can last up to 36 hours, earning it the nickname “the weekend pill.” This allows for greater flexibility and spontaneity in sexual activity compared to other ED medications with shorter durations.

In addition to treating ED, lower doses of Tadalafil (the active ingredient in Vidalista) are also prescribed to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
